Childbirth Educators share information about the journey of pregnancy, the process of labor and birth, the care and attention needed post-partum, and the unique needs of a newborn baby.

Childbirth Educators teach breathing and relaxation techniques, the importance of a supportive birthing partner, coping strategies to help manage pain during labor, positioning and exercises for baby's optimal positioning for birth, information about potential medical procedures, and breastfeeding.

There are many different types of childbirth education, each offering their own specialized techniques to support and empower your birthing experience.
