DE CPM Midwives Association

A DE Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) is a midwife who meets the certification standards of the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) and is licensed in the state of Delaware.  The CPM is the only midwifery credential that requires education about and experience in out-of-hospital birth settings.  DE CPMs may also be licensed in MD and/or VA.

CPM Midwives use the Midwives Model of Care to provide Prenatal, Labor & Birth, Post-partum care, and Newborn care to families choosing to birth their babies at home.  We believe birth is a natural, healthy life experience and endeavor to provide individualized, holistic care to support your physical, spiritual, and emotional needs during this special time.
